Washing Instructions

How to keep it your favorite

Garment-dyed cotton is a lot like a cast-iron pan, a little care early on and it'll outlast most of your closet.

In the wash

Cold water only. Heat is what pulls the color out.
Turn it inside out first, to protect the graphic you're planning to wear into the ground.
Gentle detergent. Skip the bleach and the fabric softener, one fades the color, the other flattens the softness.
Wash it on its own the first time. Garment dye lets go of a little color at the start, so keep it away from anything pale.

In the dryer (or not)

Hang drying is best. No shrinking, no roughing up the hand feel, and more time for a snack.
If you're using the dryer: low heat or delicate, and take it out as soon as it's done. Wrinkles set in the pile.

Ironing

Never straight onto the print. Turn it inside out, or use a pressing cloth.

Orders over $75 ship free. Consider it the extra sauce packets you didn't ask for.

Every shirt is a special order

Your ticket goes up, the press heats, and the shirt gets grilled. Orders ship within 7 days. Then 2–5 days as USPS runs it out.

You'll get tracking to follow your order all the way to your front door.

Returns:

The Refire Clause

If it turns up damaged, defective, or just not the shirt on the ticket, that one's on us. We'll remake it or refund it. Same as a plate that comes out wrong: you don't have to make a case for it.

Unworn, in the shape it arrived in.

If something's wrong, let us know. The whole point is a shirt you reach for on purpose.
