Pull Up a Chair

Umamitees started in 2025 over a fairly simple observation: the best thing about food is eating it.

The 11:47 PM fridge light. The same diner every Saturday. The grilled cheese that fixed a bad day. The leftovers that were better on day two. The second plate you did not need but absolutely deserved. Nobody puts those on a list of great meals, and yet, they're the best.

So we make shirts about them. Heavyweight cotton, garment-dyed soft, boxy and relaxed, made to order. The kind of shirt that shows up already feeling like the one you'd have reached for anyway.

They're for snack-plate enthusiasts, no-plate people, menu memorizers, room-for-dessert planners, and anyone who has ordered the same thing seventeen times because it's still the best one. You, probably.

We named the brand after umami, the fifth taste, the deep savory one that makes you stop talking for a second. A feeling so good somebody had to invent a whole word for it.
